Invest to end TB !
On March 24 each year, we celeLet's celebrate World Tuberculosis Day to raise awareness among the general public of the terrible health, social and economic consequences of this disease and to make greater efforts to end the global epidemic of tuberculosis.

World Tuberculosis Day 2023, the theme of which is " Yes ! We can end TB! », aims to inspire hope and drive high-level leadership engagement, increased investment, faster adherence to new WHO recommendations, adoption of innovations, stronger action and collaboration multisectoral approach to combating the tuberculosis epidemic.
This year is crucial, with the United Nations High-Level Meeting on Tuberculosis scheduled for 2023 providing an opportunity to give greater prominence to the issue and reinvigorate political mobilization. In the run-up to this meeting, countries will be called upon this year, on World Tuberculosis Day, to step up progress. WHO will also launch a call to action with its partners to urge Member States to accelerate the roll-out of the new, shorter, all-oral regimens recommended by the Organization to control drug-resistant tuberculosis. World Tuberculosis Day is celebrated annually to raise awareness of the disease and efforts to end the global epidemic, with March 24 marking the day when, in 1882, the bacteria responsible for tuberculosis was discovered. .
