Congratulations and Bravo to Dr Thierno Ousmane Coulibaly!

The Association Against Tuberculosis and Endemic Diseases (ACTUME) is pleased to announce that Doctor Thierno Coulibaly was honored during the 75th anniversary of the WHO in Mauritania, for his contribution and his important role, for years, in the public health service.

Doctor Thierno Coulibaly, a great specialist in public health, is a founding member of the local association, in Mauritania, partner of ACTUME: Association Santé Tékane (AST).

We are delighted with this deserved distinction dedicated to this humble, affable man, on the verge of self-effacement.

Indeed, he is a major player in the sister association on which we rely for the execution of our projects in the field. The AST, of which he is a member, continues today the work that we initiated through health caravans.

In addition, he is coordinator of the project to promote medicinal plants in the municipality of Tékane and accompanies all our solidarity actions in Mauritania: Tékane community pharmacy, awareness campaigns on tuberculosis and endemic diseases and health caravans (2012-2018).

We have no doubt that this recognition will give it even more strength and determination to continue to carry out actions in favor of populations who too often suffer from diseases in silence.

We are therefore delighted with this award and wish him good luck.
