The High Authority of Health organized on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at the Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris, a Symposium dedicated to its strategic project “Contributing to regulation through quality and efficiency”.

Faced with the challenges of chronic pathologies, the aging of the population and the cost of innovations, HAS wishes to participate in the necessary development of the health system to meet the needs of the French.

It has thus adopted a project aimed at contributing to regulation both through the quality and safety of care and through efficiency, understood as the optimal use of the collective and individual resources mobilized.

Discussions and reflections of this Symposium were part of this process and were structured around three stages:

  • Efficiency in the service of regulation: illustration by health products
  • The care pathways to guarantee the efficiency of care
  • The relevance of professional practices to spend better

Consult the scientific program as well as the slideshows of the three sessions at the bottom of the page. The report of this Symposium will be posted online by February 2015.
